Proud AACC Moments
Last week we asked our AACC community what their proudest moments were while they were at AACC.
Check out a few of their responses!
The understanding instructors had when I returned to school after a long hiatus. I was given compassion, self-confidence, encouragement, and excellent coursework. I was set up for success and discovered my love of learning.
Making connections with students, one at a time!
Feeling well-versed and prepared when I graduated from the culinary program.
I’m proud that my Mom and all 3 of my sisters and I took advantage of this great school to get an excellent education at an affordable price. We all went on to get our B.A. degrees at MD colleges. AACC is definitely a path to success!
Proud I got my first degree at AACC. That's where everything started. Now I'm a MD barred attorney.
I'm proud of changing my major. I was so nervous and overwhelmed to change my major because I already took so many classes, but it was a nice transition and I had a lot of support from my guidance counselor. I’m almost at a 4.0 GPA this semester and I'm very happy and proud of this change.
My GPA going from a 2.0 to a 3.3 between my first semester and now.
Graduating from a top RN program in Maryland!
This is a throwback to 1986. I am proud of my grandmom. She was in her 70s at the time and took a typing class with me.
Meeting my now husband through a class on campus.
