You’ll be invited to include your quilt block in the larger AACC Community Quilt, a multiyear community art project that will collect and assemble individually made quilt blocks created in workshops throughout the year that are held in conjunction with AACC’s diversity programming. 11 a.m.-12:15 p.m. CADE 205

¿ESO ME HACE SONAR GAY?/DOES THIS MAKE ME SOUND GAY?
Recently, the idea of a “gayccent” has become a pop-culture phenomenon. However, studies have shown that an accent or "lisp" is not enough to clue listeners into a speaker’s supposed sexuality. If not the voice, what allows people to evaluate a speaker’s sexuality? Sit in on a journey through an analysis of real-life media clips and participant responses as we try to discover what really informs the way listeners perceive male sexuality in both English and Spanish. 7-8 p.m. Zoom – register online to attend
Wednesday, Oct. 12
GAME NIGHT
Join the Gender Sexuality Alliance (GSA) for a night of gaming and making new friends! 7-9 p.m. Zoom – register online to attend
