Completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) means more money for college and more opportunities for limited funds such as work-study and grants. We asked our Financial Aid office for some tips for our students who are planning on taking classes in the 2021-2022 school year. Check out a few of the tips that they gave us below!
Complete the FAFSA by March 1 to increase the number of awards you could qualify for.
After submitting your FAFSA, make sure that you receive a confirmation email saying that it was successfully submitted.
Make sure that your social security number is correct on your AACC record (or the record of the college you will attend).
If you're going to school in 2021-2022, you should fill out the FAFSA. If you’re having trouble completing the application, we’re here to help. Just send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org!
