AACC
FAFSA Deadline

Students! Have you filled out your 2022-2023 FAFSA yet? To be eligible for Maryland scholarships, grants and the Maryland Promise, you need to submit your FAFSA or MSFAA by March 1.
AACC's Financial Aid Office have held Q&A's on Instagram all month to answer any and all of your financial aid questions. You can find a few of those Q&A's below and can head to our Instagram to watch them all.
Check out our Financial Aid webpage on the AACC website to learn more about FAFSA, Maryland Promise, AACC Scholarships and more. Here are some frequently asked questions to get you started:
Where do I start?
Start by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This application opens you up to so many types of financial aid, including federal and state aid. The application can be found on the Federal Student Aid website.
What is the deadline to complete the FAFSA?
That depends on what school you're attending, as different schools will have different deadlines. Check in with your school’s Financial Aid office for their deadlines. If you're planning to attend AACC, we highly encourage you to have the FAFSA completed by March 1.
How will I know how much aid I qualify for?
When your indicated schools receive their FAFSA, those schools will reach out to you and put together an awards package. If done in advance, you will know what you qualify for before you attend your first class.
