A LITTLE MORE
An AACC graduate himself, Robert Lowe jumped at the opportunity to be part of the Architecture and Interior Design department. He was excited to join the community that brought him joy and success when he was a student. Sixteen years later, he still finds himself sharing his education and experience to new students each term. “I strive to provide students with the necessary experience and skills to be successful in the profession that captured my imagination when I was planning a career,” he said.
Lowe is known to his students for being easygoing and supplying endless, crazy analogies. He teaches a variety of Architecture and Landscape Architecture courses, including domestic and international travel study opportunities that have a specific interest for analysis, sustainable high performance design, and in-field instructional methods. His appetite for architecture has given him the exposure to diverse students and their endless talents while teaching at AACC. Lowe is consistently inspired by his students each term to dream and want better in everything. When not in the classroom, Lowe serves as the faculty advisor for AACC’s American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS). AIAS is an organization dedicated to design, providing leadership opportunities and service among architecture students across America.
Outside of AACC, you may find Lowe taking pictures or playing guitar. A lover of photography, he is captivated by images that convey a time and sense of place.
