QUEER COMMUNITY WELLNESS AND ADVOCACY RESOURCE FAIR Community is essential for living a strong, healthy and beautiful life. The resource fair, in observance of National Coming Out Day, provides our LGBTQ+ students access to life-saving resources and support systems. 11 a.m.-1 p.m. SUN Hawk’s Nest

COURAGEOUS CONVERSATION: LGBTQ+ FACULTY AND STAFF ON RELATIONSHIPS ON FAITH, IDENTITY AND NAVIGATING THE PUBLIC SPHERE There are nearly 600 anti-LGBTQ+ bills before state legislatures, and disinformation and hatred are fueling a record amount of violence against LGBTQ+ people. Many LGBTQ+ individuals and communities are grappling to come to terms with this unwanted hostility and slander. Through this conversation we seek to shift the narrative by providing space for LGBTQ+ AACC faculty and staff to express their own relationship of untangling religious trauma from spiritual love and acceptance, and navigating one’s identity and safety in an increasingly adverse public sphere. Register now. 3-4 p.m. Zoom

Wednesday, Oct. 11
